Casson Mann are museum, exhibition and interior designers.

Dinah Casson and Roger Mann formed Casson Mann in1984. In 1994 we decided to concentrate on museums and exhibitions and the result has been 18 years of designing whole museums, temporary and touring exhibitions, installations, masterplans and interpretive strategies for most of the major museums in the UK.

We have made temporary exhibitions for the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Design Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, the Design Council and the Imperial War Museum. We have created permanent galleries for the V&A Museum, Manchester Art Gallery, the Science Museum, the Imperial War Museum, and the National Portrait Gallery; and three years ago we opened our first complete museum – the Great North Museum in Newcastle; this received the highly prestigious DBA Gold award for Design Effectiveness.

In addition, we have worked on projects in Europe, America, and the Middle East, with overseas work continuing in Philadelphia, Bordeaux and Montignac.

We have built exhibitions about all subjects from brain science and dinosaurs, to biographical museums about Winston Churchill, Benjamin Franklin and Konstantin Stanislavski. We have made object-based galleries and galleries that are almost totally digital - and some that fuse the two.

We have won many awards for our work – the Churchill Museum alone won 6. In September 2012 we were honored at the D&AD/50 awards ceremony, for ranking in the top 10 most awarded design studios of the last 50 years.
